SOFTWARE DEVELOPER 1 , Materials Science and Engineering (DMSE) (part-time, 50%), to support the Interactive Materials Education Laboratory's teaching and research activities as directed by the lead research scientist. Will design, code, test and deploy production-ready software to support grant-funded research and teaching activities. Many of these tools will need to be integrated into the digital learning environments used in MIT residential and online education, specifically the edX platform. Will support grant-funded educational research to study the effect of deploying computer programming activities and interactive scientific computer graphics into college-level STEM curriculum and perform other tasks as needed.
