Albright College is seeking candidates for the position of Facilities Operations and Maintenance Manager. Albright College is a selective liberal arts college founded in 1856 and is located in the residential neighborhood of College Heights in Reading, PA. Albright is located within an hour of Philadelphia, two hours from Baltimore, and three hours from New York City and Washington, D.C. and enrolls 1700+ students from 30 states and 12 countries in our residential college and about 500 nontraditional students in our evening, accelerated degree programs.
The Facilities Operations and Maintenance Manager is responsible to manage the overall maintenance operations of the College and reports to the Director of Facilities Services and Operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to overseeing the Trades and Maintenance workers for all shifts. Additional responsibilities are to oversee the College’s energy management functions, automated building control system, small project management, and oversight of contractors performing on larger jobs that cover various maintenance and operations. Excellent communication and computer skills are needed.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or a related field. PMI, LEED, APPA, or IFMA certifications highly desired but not required. Individual should have minimum of 5 years related facilities management experience, 5 years of supervisory experience, as well as experience working with a computerized maintenance management system; experience working in a higher education environment desirable.
