The Division of Biology and Medicine Office of BioMed Communications seeks a Web Production and Content Specialist to contribute to the management, content, and technical implementation of our websites and social media. The incumbent will work with internal stakeholders and content drivers to manage web site projects, troubleshoot and make edits to websites, and contribute to social media channels. As a member of our team, they will work on page updates, content entry, site maintenance and general site quality assurance ensuring that the Schoolâ™s website is accurate and up to date.
Bachelorâ™s degree required with 3-5 years of experience with digital content platforms in a professional setting and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in a university setting is preferred
Proficiency in web production (e.g., basic knowledge of at least one web CMS, such as Drupal or WordPress)
Excellent computer skills and basic knowledge of websites or webpages
Strong communication, writing and organizational skills
Attention to detail and dedication to quality
Team player who can juggle multiple responsibilities and excels under pressure
Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a deadline driven, changing environment
Experience working with the Drupal web CMS
Experience with Adobe software products
Experience with project management software
Criminal and education background check required.
