Our statewide association is looking for an energetic sales-minded professional to join our team. This new team member will be our Director of Member Services.
As Director of Member Services, you have the opportunity to identify new, valuable services to use for new member recruitment and maintain member engagement.
This position will have a dramatic effect on our member’s perception of our organization and our ability to perpetuate organization growth, reputation and brand recognition.
This position requires selling ability, a proven track record of sales experience using cold calling, email and in-person visits. You must also have outstanding customer service skills, a high standard of professionalism, be courteous and self-motivated. Your computer skills will also need to be advanced.
Member Services:Research, develop and promote a valuable Member Services program to provide effective cost-savings for association members.
Member Recruitment: Execute membership recruitment campaigns. Conduct in-person visits, sales calls or emails to potential members. Build relationships with potential members.
Member Engagement:Support new member campaign. Work with collaborative communities to increase member engagement with current members.
Member Education: Identify opportunities to develop and deliver educational sessions and trainings to support existing members and recruit new members.

The North Carolina Retail Merchants Association (NCRMA) is a nonprofit trade association organized in 1902 to improve the business climate for retailers in North Carolina. NCRMA represents the interests of the retail industry before the General Assembly and serves as a vital link to state government.
