We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Agile Programme Manager.
Principal responsibilities The Commercial Banking Strategic Business Change team are an integral part of the Commercial Banking Chief Operating Office and are responsible for delivering Commercial Banking's strategic change initiatives in line with the Global Commercial Banking Strategic Business Outlooks. The team support end to end change of large strategic agile programmes, define, implement and embed innovative and digital solutions and reengineer processes so that Commercial Banking can provide a market leading service to our customers. The team has a high degree of exposure to Senior Management at a Global, Regional and Country level and works collectively with them to identify and resolve business problems and maximize business opportunities
The Agile Lead acts as Commercial Banking's change agent, supporting the implementation of the Commercial Banking and Group strategy and is committed to making change a source of sustainable competitive advantage for HSBC. The Strategic Business Change Consultant will need to support the shaping, execution and embedding of change across the business, thus delivering a unified change experience to Commercial Banking. They are expected to have knowledge of Group strategy and the challenges or risks the Group faces. This requires the Agile Lead to operate in the following way:
As Agile Lead the role holder will help HSBC Commercial Banking install an agile culture in applicable projects and programmes, and help educate the wider business about the benefits of agile and how to make working in an agile environment a success.
Influence and collaborate with stakeholders and business partners, building strong relationships to ensure consensus and influence change outcomes. Foster open and honest communication which anticipates stakeholder expectations
Work with executive management across Commercial Banking and key stakeholders such as Compliance, Audit, Finance, Human Resources and so on, to constantly challenge perceived wisdom
Develop solutions and business models and to recommend, achieve buy in for the recommended solutions and business models and its implementation approach
Analyse current state legacy solutions and operating models against target model to identify gaps and opportunities to support an effective transition towards the target state
To manage the change and its execution and to ensure monetisation of benefits
Provide direction to Business Analysts and Project Managers to collectively shape and deliver the change effectively
Influence and obtain buy in from senior management and stakeholders for programme plans, commitments, changes including requirements, quality assurance plans, budget, schedule, scope, risk mitigation and contingency plan
Bachelor degree related field or commensurate practical experience
Proven track record of being a strong Agile Coach and Change Agent for large organisations
Proven experience of successfully shaping and executing against a global business strategic change agenda
Good knowledge of Commercial bank's business model such as customer proposition, channels and operations, and the key financial performance drivers
Understanding of Innovation within the industry and experience working with Fintech companies to solve business problems
Agile certification such as Certified Scrum Master or Professional Scrum Master
Good working knowledge of functional area in an operational or consulting capacity
Industry recognized technical certifications, such as Project Management Professional, Certified Business Analysis Professional, Master Black Belt Six Sigma, The Open Group Architecture Framework
Industry recognized Commercial Banking and Risk domain certification such as Asia Pacific Trade Facilitation Forum, Financial Risk Manager and so on
