Renown Residential Property Management Firm Seeking a Compliance Coordinator - Must have Experience in the Residential/Condo/Coop Realm Preferred.
This person should be knowledgeable on the accounting systems and the all aspects of our business along with a management background (DOT, HPD, DOB and all other areas). The managing agent candidate does not have to manage buildings but will be responsible for compliance, including but not limited to:
Help to manage Proprietary Software - electronic archive of compliance documents
Work with Compliance policies and procedures are followed
Use SiteCompli and other services to ensure portfolio remains proactively compliant on all matters
Coordinating with Vendors (cyclical inspections, Local Law submissions)
Liaising with other Property Managers and departments
Coordinating annual life safety mailings, inspections, CAT1 & CAT5 etc.
Able to stay informed of all new agency procedures or legislation that impacts the portfolio e.g. Local Laws, Reporting Requirements etc.
Must have strong Project Management and Organizational skills
Must have STRONG organizational, follow thru, & communication skills
Articulate with strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate efficiently, effectively and in a timely fashion
Proactive, “solution” oriented/problem solver
Have common sense and understand when it is appropriate to ask for direction and when to work independently
Must have strong project management and organizational skills
Manage Time and Meet Deadlines
Once familiar with internal operations and practices, be able to work independently and with minimal direction (although direction is provided when required)
Make a clean and professional appearance as you may be called upon to attend Board Meetings
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & Powerpoint
