The Radiology team supporting our Helen F Graham Cancer Center is currently recruiting for a Full Time Radiologic Technologist to work day shift, Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. Staff are occasionally asked to remain past normal business hours and to work some Saturdays. The successful candidate must possess mammography experience and be certified to be qualified.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment
Performing mammography both diabnostic screening and special views of the breast
Developing and identifying radiographs; which includes proper identification of film, date and time; history and markers on films
Performing clerical duties when necessary: receptionist and scheduling duties, completes forms on clinical, insurance data, etc. and various filing duties
Covering the Emergency Department (ED) OR, Surgi center, Portables, Fluror, and must be open to train in Mammography in the future.
Assisting with the training of radiology technology students
Using and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems
Leveraging the following equipment: Seimans, Phillips, and Ziehm
Digitizing films and burn patient CD's
Completion of two year program in Radiology Technology is required; Associates Degree in Radiology Science is preferred
Certification in CPR
Must be certified in Mammography
ARRT registered to acquire DE license
