The position As we continue to expand here in the UK, we are now looking to hire a Business Analyst in our London office. We are ideally looking for someone with a finance background, who is driven and ambitious, who can lead from the front and deliver on objectives.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment and will have the opportunity to contribute of the ongoing success of Avaloq UK, with a direct feed into UK management and Avaloq group finance.

What you will be doing The successful candidate will be joining Avaloq as we continue an exciting period of growth and will have the opportunity to contribute to some major projects.
You will be responsible for supporting senior management and assist in developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers.
You will perform financial analysis on the progress of projects, SaaS (and BPaaS) services, while also being responsible for contract management and procurement.
You will oversee project and cost planning for all UK projects and services, as well as support in finance activities.
Other responsibilities of this role will include aiding in the resource balancing and generating MI for senior management.
This position will play a pivotal role in the day to day functions in the London office and you will be an important interface between the group and local UK entity, and Avaloq and our clients.
Education A minimum of a 2:1 degree in a technology, finance or business-related field.
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
Experienced in generating management and financial reporting
Great communication and interpersonal skills
Self-starter with hands-on attitude and personal leadership
Previous experience within the consulting, FinTech of financial services industries would be beneficial
Previous account management experience would be beneficial
Professional demeanour when engaging with clients and partners
Ability to learn in a highly dynamic and complex environment with mixed skills
