As the Supervising Producer for Fighting Irish Media, this individual will execute all aspects of production for many of our shows and social-first content on multiple platforms. - Direct, Produce, and Edit 26 Episodes of Inside Notre Dame Football & Basketball (13 each) - Manage crew of 6 during production of TV shows - Consistently meet deadlines for a tight weekly turn around - Director of Photography for individual sport production days/highly produced shoots (inside the mind); Develop look and of each shot/set, Plan Camera/Lens Use, Plot Lights and create diagrams to be replicated - Research, Manage and Repair Production Equipment. - This is a leadership position that supervises Associate Producer and two production interns/assistants & is part of multiple PODS in FIM Athletics structure - Film Sporting Events - Games, Practices, etc… - Produce, Shoot, Edit Digital Social-First Content for other varsity sports beyond TV shows.
Minimum Qualifications: Experience in all aspects of video including leading video production teams. Experience with professional camera work, multiple editing suites, lighting, audio and full gamut of production roles. Research and recommendations for the latest in high end technology and trends. Creative and strategic thinking preferred. The ability to execute the FIM Mission Statement in every production. The Supervising Producer has decision making abilities and manages a staff of 3 talented production peole; the decisions made by the Superivising Producer will have an impact on the entire production department. Demonstrate the ability to interview, build rapport and work with on-air talent, athletes and coaches. Strong organizational and communication skills and a collaborative style and the ability to work effectively within a diverse population is required. This position is required to travel occasionally, work nights and weekends during athletic seasons as necessary. Must have knowledge of NCAA, ACC, Big 10 and Notre Dame rules and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree (4 year) 5 to 6 years experience in video production
