This 12 month (100% FTE) Clinical Research Coordinator position will work on an NIMH-funded research study that is evaluating the effectiveness of personalized interventions for adolescent depression delivered in a community mental health care setting.
Facilitate the successful implementation of the study protocol
Work with community clinic staff who are conducting recruitment
Maintain subject tracking system and scheduling subjects for assessments
Assist with supervision of undergraduate research volunteers
Assist with the preparation and management of IRB applications, modifications, and adverse event reports, as needed
Works with study monitors to ensure data compliance and integrity
Organize and oversee data entry
Handle financial, personnel, and administrative transactions
Data Collection (40%)
Screen potential research subjects
Conduct informed consent
Administer data collection procedures with research subjects, including interviews, questionnaires, behavioral tasks, and ECG
All required qualifications must be documented on application materials.
BA/BS in Psychology or a related field plus 2 years of work experience in research or a combination of related education and work experience to equal 6 years
Experience must include a minimum of 2 years of coordinator experience
Ability to work independently, make decisions, problem solve and prioritize the simultaneous management of multiple aspects of the study
Possess excellent communication skills; verbal and written
