The Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of a clinical research study on high risk, substance using adolescents who are court involved. The Project Manager will assist the Principal Investigator and Co-Investigators with project oversight and management, particularly data collection, interventions, and the facilitation and monitoring of the reliable implementation of all study procedures to ensure the scientific integrity of the assessment data and the interventions. Responsibilities also include facilitating study treatment protocols; supervision of research assistant(s) and interventionist(s); and preparation of written reports for the Institutional Review Board(s) (IRB), the funding source, and other regulatory bodies.
Required: Masterâ™s degree required (PhD preferred) in clinical or counseling psychology or related field with at least 5-7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience providing treatment to teens and families required
Experience working in a clinical research setting providing study oversight and management
Professional licensure in mental health counseling preferred
Experience working in the Juvenile Justice System preferred
Experience working in clinical setting and/or conducting clinical psychiatric research preferred
Ability to work independently and set appropriate performance goals
Ability to motivate employees to meet performance goals
Excellent verbal presentation skills; interpersonal skills; and written communication skills required
Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly within a multidisciplinary treatment team required
This position requires flexibility, creativity, willingness to adapt to and meet changing priorities, ability to work as part of a team using a problem solving orientation.
