Connelly School of the Holy Child is a Catholic, college preparatory school, committed to the intellectual, spiritual, artistic, physical, and social development of young women in grades 6 through 12. Organize the overall Annual Fund campaign with a focus on renewing and upgrading of current donors, as well as increasing the participation rates of all segments.
Manage all aspects of Annual Fund print and digital production with the Communications Department, including timing and nature of appeals, writing copy, collaborating on the Annual Fund website pages and giving forms.
Oversee a personal portfolio of donors as well as directly soliciting additional donors as needed.
Recruit and manage Annual Fund volunteers with timely updates, clear guidance and positive encouragement.
Supervise the Annual Fund prospect management process and work with the department to ensure data is properly represented within the database.
Develop tracking reports and lists that are responsive to the needs of the various internal constituents, including all Development Office staff and the Head of School.
Provide prospect research on individuals, corporations, and foundations using a wide variety of biographical, organizational and financial sources. Analyze and synthesize accumulated information to assess prospects’ financial capacity, philanthropic interests, giving propensity and affinity to Holy Child.
Respond to requests for information from donors, volunteers, and staff in a professional and timely manner.
Perform all functions with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
Assist in raising funds for select special projects and events in collaboration with Development colleagues.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Minimum of 3 years of related professional experience.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency using donor software (Veracross Experience preferred) and, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
Experience with Wealth Engine or Prospect Research.
Time-management skills, the ability to multi-task under pressure, and have strong organizational and project management skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others and support organizational goals.
A Track record of timely response to requests for information, service, and assistance.
History of Maintaining confidentiality.
Demonstrate a positive and productive attitude.
Must be willing to work evenings and weekends periodically.

About Connelly School of the Holy Child
Connelly School of the Holy Child Founded in 1961 by the Society of the Holy Child Jesus as a college preparatory school for girls grade 6-12. The school is part of a network of 33 Holy Child schools in the United States, Europe and Africa, which is guided by the educational philosophy of Cornelia Connelly. Holy Child enrolls approximately 300 students every year from the Washington, DC metropolitan area as well as across the globe.
