The Disability Resource Center at Portland State University makes university life accessible for students with disabilities. The Access Services Coordinator supports this mission by overseeing the coordination and provision of Note Taking, Media Captioning services, American Sign Language Interpreting (ASL), and Real-Time Captioning services. The person in this position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of providing timely, accurate services to students with disabilities in compliance with the ADA.

High School diploma. Experience leading or supervising others. Proficiency in computer software and hardware (i.e. Microsoft Office, database systems, etc.). Detail-oriented. Experience working with organizational tools. Flexibility, creativity, and patience.
Experience working in a higher education setting. Comfort and enthusiasm for working with individuals from diverse backgrounds with diverse identities and experiences. Demonstrated organizational or project management skills. Demonstrated managerial or supervision skills. Knowledge of ASL.
