We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Collaboration Manager.
The Commercial Banking Strategic Business Change team are an integral part of the Commercial Banking Chief Operating Office. The team support collaboration and simplification ensuring that we continue to create a speak up culture by providing channels for our teams to share ideas and to work in collaboration to co-create solutions. The team has a high degree of exposure to Senior Management at a Global, Regional and Country level and works collectively with them to identify and resolve business problems and maximize business opportunities
Strategic Business Change Collaboration Manager will work extensively across the Regional and Country Chief Operating Office teams to drive awareness and usage of collaboration tools, and to create and engage teams for resolution of ideas and best practice sharing.
This requires the Strategic Business Change Collaboration Manager to operate in the following way
Work independently and have the gravitas and acumen to work with business stakeholders. They should be confident to challenge the business, where appropriate
Be self motivated and driven but able to manage and work in a team whenever required. He or she may not be subject to close supervision
Typically he or she should have high energy and sense of urgency with the ability to learn quickly and assimilate information
Be easily accessible and available to support regional and country business needs
Be able to cope and bring structure to ambiguous situations and problems. He or she will be expected to adopt an agile and flexible approach to work.
Ideally, the role holder should have the ability to move between modes of thinking, for instance strategic to analytical, board to drilldown
Knowledge and experience in creating, implementing and managing sharing portals for communities to share ideas, content and reference material
Ability to define and communicate the knowledge management strategy to key stakeholders
Ability to facilitate knowledge sharing across teams within multiple Countries including regular communications for sharing of promotion of news, events and collaboration opportunities and producing data reports to understand activity progress and achievements
Coordinate with knowledge champions across Countries and within Regional teams to influence a sharing culture
Align knowledge management to COO prioritizes, with a focus on improving efficiency
Understanding of Innovation within the industry
Ability to implement business change including knowledge sharing projects, tools and simplification initiatives
Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage large audiences and host training and networking events
An understanding of HSBC Group structures, values, behaviors, processes and objectives
A good view of the Commercial Banking business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance
Knowledge of Commercial bank's business model such as the customer proposition, the channels and operations, and the key financial performance drivers
Includes ability to appreciate complex business problems and apply some commercial sense
Proven experience of positive, challenging interactions with senior stakeholders across the group
Proven ability in working across multi disciplinary and multi cultural diverse work environments
Successful experience in developing and retaining critical talent and building an effective team
Good working knowledge of functional area in an operational or consulting capacity
