A long established & well-respected engineering and environmental consulting company seeks a Geotechnical Engineer.
The Geotechnical Engineer will work on a variety of engineering consulting projects involving traditional geotechnical engineering analysis and design for foundations (shallow and deep); slope stability and seepage; earth retention, dams and hydraulic structures; and groundwater. As part of project teams performing geotechnical, civil, and structural engineering designs, your work will include specifying, implementing, and interpreting soil and rock investigations including drilling and in-situ testing; overseeing on-site and laboratory testing; performing facility inspections, geotechnical computer modeling, installation and interpretation of geotechnical instrumentation, overseeing design and assessment, preparation of design plans and specifications; and writing reports. Administrative work, such as business development, project management, project planning and scheduling, mentoring and coaching less-experienced staff members, and workload estimation are also part of this role.
MUST HAVE minimum BS Degree in Civil Engineering (MSCE preferred).
MUST HAVE 5 + years experience in Geotechnical Engineering experience.
