This Director of Nursing and Patient Care Services for OR and CPD will be responsible for:
Leading and mentoring of clinical and management staff in an academic Magnet hospital in the 22 operating rooms, 2 procedure rooms and CPD.
Ensuring the delivery of safe quality patient /family centered nursing care in the hospital and clinic(s) setting.
Partnering with the Business Director on project management, budget preparation, collaboration, and strong communication to navigate across the enterprise and advance reliability, safety, and patient/family experience.
Advancement of nursing science and care delivery operations through research, clinical inquiry and quality improvement, apply creative problem solving to lead and evaluate complex projects and care delivery innovation.
Developing, implementing, and evaluating strategic interdisciplinary programs which are consistent with the mission, values, and goals of Children's Hospital.
Developing a strong and cohesive leadership team.
To qualify, you must have:
Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a surgical or procedural setting.
Demonstrated success in the management of large multidisciplinary teams.
BSN with 5 plus years of acute care experience in a surgical or procedural setting.
Master’s degree in nursing or related field.
Licensed in MA as a Registered Nurse.
Professional certification in executive nursing (NE-BC), operating room nursing (CNOR), and/or post anesthesia nursing (CPAN).
