The Division of Computer Science, Mathematics and Science is seeking applications for a full-time, tenure-track appointment as Assistant Professor of Computer Science, supporting the B.S. degree in Healthcare Informatics program, commencing September 1, 2019.

This is a teaching-intensive position (9-12 credit hours per semester) with opportunities for research reductions. We place primary emphasis on the candidate's commitment to teaching and student engagement, together with ongoing research productivity. Division faculty are expected to participate in academic advisement, student mentoring, academic assessment, and other activities as required by the Chair and/or Dean.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in health informatics or closely related area, such as medical informatics, bioinformatics, or computational biomedicine. The ideal candidate will also possess undergraduate and graduate-level teaching experience, as well as a record of research and scholarly publications. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in digital health, health data analytics, or public health.
Candidates should be familiar with technology-supported learning pedagogy and be able to integrate technology into teaching.
