Manage projects, programs, and initiatives that span across multiple Commercial Engineering disciplines, including Industry and Portfolio Marketing. Work with cross-functional teams to define, plan, and execute a variety of projects and programs that change from year to year. Oversee the execution and promotion of customer-facing initiatives. In addition to project/program management responsibilities, prepare product demonstrations (Great Demo), sample applications, sales aids, training, labs and technical documentation / presentations for internal and external customers. The individual could be required to travel globally, up to 25%, in support of Rockwell Automation goals and objectives such as customer visits, training and tradeshows.
Manage projects associated with the Customer Experience Centers in Milwaukee and Cleveland. This includes annual updates as well as the implementation of new technology driven by RA strategic acquisitions.
Present status and updates on these programs to CE management, Commercial Marketing Management, Business Unit Management, and other upper management functions.
Support key customer visits which may include product demonstration and Customer Experience Center Tours.
Plans and directs schedules and monitor budget/spending.
Monitors projects from initiation through delivery.
Organizes interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of projects on schedule and within budget constraints.
Create documents such as tech notes, application notes, videos, and white papers to illustrate product usage in customer applications, some complex in nature.
Provides product and technical procedure training to employees and may conduct on-site training for customers, sales channel, and system integrators.
Provides technical staffing expertise at commercial events such as Automation Fair, RATechED, & RAOTM's.
