Serves as the primary point person performing Student Financial Services process analysis duties with minimum supervisory guidance in the completion of both highly specialized and routine work required of the office. Work with a wide variety of sensitive information. Dedicated self-starter who establishes and maintains comprehensive service and support for the efficient and effective functioning of the Student Financial Services programs including student loans, student grants, work-study, scholarships, student accounts, etc.
Administrative or office management experience.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and prioritize conflicting demands.
Demonstrated ability in and commitment to providing excellent customer service including: the responsibility to listen to customers; issue identification; providing option; service fulfillment; exercise knowledge of procedures to assist others; and conflict/complaint resolution.
Strong time management skills.
Experience and/or training that demonstrates the ability to use Word, Excel, Access, e-mail and/or similar software applications to produce written correspondence, create and maintain spreadsheets, and receive and respond to e-mail inquiries, tasks, etc.
Experience in handling confidential/sensitive records and information.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Experience multi-tasking in the delivery of office management functions.
Evidence of strong oral and written communication skills.
OR applicable combination of education and/or experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
Bachelor's degree or professional training, certification, or post-secondary education in an area/specialization applicable to the position.
Experience working in higher education in an administrative management capacity.
Project Management experience.
Experience and/or training with PeopleSoft Student Administration Systems.
Experience or training with Adobe Professional to create and develop interactive PDF documents.
