UCF Athletics at the University of Central Florida, an NCAA Division I institution and American Athletic Conference (The American), is seeking applications for the position of #Content Designer.
The selected candidate will assist the Associate A.D., Brand Advancement in the implementation and activation of the brand advancement campaign for 16 nationally recognized sports programs and organizational branding through the generation of progressive graphic designs / illustrations / motion graphics. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: collaboration with staff in the development, maintenance and advancement of the athletic department's brand identity through original and creative design concepts; and the production of original, creative designs and motion graphics covering a variety of print and web-based materials, including digital and social media, posters, game programs, signage and large-scale facility graphics, advertising, tickets, website and email graphics, social media graphics, logos and varied promotional materials as needed.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two (2) years appropriate experience. Appropriate graduate school coursework or master's degree may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. Prefer demonstrated graphics experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects. Strong attention to detail and communication (written/verbal) skills also preferred.
