The National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners (NBOME) is seeking a is seeking a dynamic Manager for Strategy & Quality Initiatives to support the ongoing development of quality systems, procedures and controls to ensure that services consistently exceed performance and quality specifications, furthering the NBOME’s mission to protect the public.
Responsibilities include promoting quality achievement and performance improvement across the organization by developing and analyzing performance data, maintaining quality assurance objectives and coordinating audit processes.
Support the ongoing development of quality systems, procedures and controls to ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations and best practices as applicable:
Manage planning, implementation and evaluation of the quality assurance standards compliance program
Accountable for monitoring, implementation and evaluation of processes and programs to meet all regulatory, accreditation and standards of practice
Compile data and facilitate system audit processes and reporting
Ensure all policies and procedures are accurately maintained and organized
Initiate, monitor and facilitate internal processes for a comprehensive quality/performance improvement program:
Champion quality improvement initiatives throughout the organization using a data-driven focus that sets priorities aligned to strategic objectives and compliance standards
Function as a leader, facilitator or project team member
Collaborate on design of infrastructure to support organizational performance and quality improvement systems
Continually evaluate and identify process improvement needs and develop quality and strategic performance goals and targets
Prepare reports by analyzing and summarizing findings and trends
Bachelor’s degree in organizational development or related field required, Master’s degree preferred 5-7 yrs. experience in a quality management role Strong project management skills with proven ability to lead diverse cross-functional teams Skills in application of quality improvement methodologies and tools, project management, curriculum and training development for adult learners Knowledge of quality and process improvement program metrics? Highly collaborative with ability to foster engagement
