Research Assistant needed to work on projects using multimodal MRI methods to study brain structure, function, and connectivity in children.
Assist with multiple aspects of the research process, including administering MRI scans, Neuropsychological testing, data collection, entry, coding and analysis.
IRB protocol management, recruiting and scheduling of participants, and preparation of manuscripts, posters and presentations.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Neuroscience or related field or at least one and one-half years of related experience or equivalent in education, training and experience.
Prior research experience in Neuroscience or Psychology.
Experience working with school-age children.
Demonstrated experience with statistical software, such as SPSS, CONN, SPM and Matlab to complete quantitative and qualitative data analyses.
Demonstrated computer skills and proficiency with MS Office suites or similar spreadsheet, database, word processing and presentation software.
Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills.
Strong project management, organizational and planning skills.
Ability to work early mornings, evenings and Saturdays to administer study protocols as necessary.
