The Associate Director will provide creative, energetic and strategic leadership towards the development of a campus environment that promotes and values health. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Health Initiatives, the Associate Director of Healthy Carolina Initiatives is dedicated to the proposal, advancement, establishment, and sustaining of environmental management strategies that advance the strategic plan of Student Health Services and the vision of Healthy Carolina community. They will provide assistance and support in the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of policies, systems, and environmental change strategies that improve the health of students, faculty and staff. The Associate Director will assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of the Healthy Carolina Steering Committee, permanent and ad hoc councils, and strategic plans supporting the National Prevention Strategy and Healthy Campus 2030. Acts as the project manager as UofSC advances its Collective-Impact informed vision for campus well-being. They will identify external funding opportunities and work with partners to submit and manage grant and foundation applications to fund the goals and objectives of the Healthy Carolina vision and the strategic plan of Student Health Services. This position will monitor progress and provide technical assistance for external funds (grants and gifts), including monitoring reports, budgets, and funding relations. This position supervises positions identified as linked to environmental management strategies, grant management, and evaluation & assessment, including a program coordinator, outreach dietitian, and evaluation and assessment coordinator.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Masters degree in Student Services or related field and 3 years related experience, or bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience.
