Position Summary: We oversee human resources programs and policies for the Office of the President. UCOP HR is dedicated to serving and supporting staff, and to building a work environment where employees feel involved and empowered to offer their best. Develops and oversees the implementation of new programs and processes, including the design and development of workforce planning processes and tools, pilot testing , and project management. Develops and oversees the implementation of new programs and processes, including system upgrades, validation testing, and project management. Uses advanced operational concepts and organization objectives to resolve highly complex issues. Regularly works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Primarily deals with programs and proposals which affect a large area of the organization or organization-wide initiatives.
Works as the project manager for workforce planning and supports the team leads to ensure the leads have the resources needed to meet the deadlines and deliverables.

Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft operating system (2007 and 2010) and MS Office applications.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of common organization-specific computer applications.
Strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and influence, both verbally and in writing.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes. Required
Master's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training/certification.
