The project manager will manage one or two substudies that follow-up on a large randomized controlled trial. The 4 year project is funded by NHLBI and is housed in the Division of General Internal Medicine. He/she will organize, plan, and oversee operations of one or two substudies, including participant recruitment, consenting, tracking, and disbursement of incentives. Critical aspects of the position will include development of substudy timelines and goals, allocation and tracking of resources to study participants, and ensuring high quality protocol implementation and data transfer and storage. The project manager will organize the pool of innovation reviewers so the review process is efficient and thorough. The project manager will collaborate with the study team in the co-authoring of research abstracts, manuscripts, posters, and slide presentations that result from the projects. Finally, he/she will be primarily responsible for managing all project regulatory documentation and IRB/funder correspondence and annual reports.
