The Grants Manager provides support that is critical to the research mission of the Syracuse University Aging Studies Institute (ASI). Reporting to the ASI director, the Grants Manager oversees activities related to the full lifecycle of sponsored projects administration. For numerous multi-year grants, the Grants Manager prepares monthly and quarterly internal reports, facilitates reporting to sponsors, coordinates staffing, oversees post-award fiscal activities, and provides project management support. The Grants Manager also assists the ASI faculty associates and graduate students in identifying funding opportunities and developing and submitting grant proposals, with a particular emphasis on collaborative and large, complex proposals. The Grants Manager works collaboratively with administrative staff in ASI and Maxwell, in various other units across campus, and at other institutions to provide high-quality research support to the ASI faculty associates and graduate students.
