As Manager, Data Governance you will support the operations and programs of enterprise data governance. You will lead governance initiatives, conduct data analyses and mining activities and act as a liaison to Information Technology teams. You will also support the ongoing data-initiatives through data quality, analytics, and dashboard work.

Present reporting analysis and interpretation for operational and business review and planning
Support short and long term operational / strategic business activities through analysis
Consult and document business requirements to support client reporting needs
Develop and recommended business solutions through research and analysis of data
Use your creativity and process improvement skills to expand and improve existing processes and create new ones in accordance with data governance best practices
Conduct and present in-depth data analysis for projects as well as ongoing data quality initiatives
Create datasets from a variety of disparate sources to further data governance initiatives and processes
Perform data mining on large datasets to supplement data governance quality improvement initiatives
Reporting includes running of ongoing reports as well as assistance with ad hoc reporting
Manages a team of Data Governance Analysts
Conducts some high level project management-type functions for ongoing initiatives
Coordinates executive and leadership governance committee meetings, and at times present on major initiatives
Bachelors Degree in Informatics, Information Science, Computer Science, or related
4-7 years in Business analysis, data analysis, or reporting analysis work experience.
In lieu of a bachelors degree, four years of job-related work experience can be accepted.
Masters Degree and 2-4 years experience
Experience in analysis using SQL, R or other statistical languages.
Medical center experience required, academic health care strongly preferred
Experience in Master Data Management, Data Quality tools, or Data Governance tools, Informatica preferred.
