This position will provide professional program coordination to ensure that the activities of the Workforce Development division meet or exceed the expectations of our continents, to effectively and efficiently provide professional development and training services. The purposes are to establish and maintain stakeholder awareness of Customized Training and Community Education division priorities, capacities and accomplishments by planning, developing, implementing and maintaining internal and external communication/information systems for key external stakeholders including LSC administrators and staff charged with managing partnerships, and workforce and economic development activities developed for employers and the incumbent workforce. This position will manage projects and serve as the liaison to internal and external business units and employer/governmental organizations as needed to facilitate and maintain partnerships. This position will develop and maintain relationships with community based organizations, governmental agencies, employers, and institutions of higher education as necessary, to provide effective outreach. Must be able to work independently and professionally.
Significant experience providing outreach to business and industry
Proven record of partnership development
Familiarity with labor market and career information
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Project management experience
Expertise with WordPress and basic web design
Expertise with Social Media and Marketing
Demonstrated self-starter with strong organizational and administrative skills
Exceptional human relations and customer service skills including the ability to work with diverse populations
Experience working in education and training
Experience with project management
Experience with enterprise systems including registration, accounting and records modules
Strong organizational skills and attention to details
Strong Interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to make presentations before groups of people
