The Chief Admission Officer will ensure success of Atlanta Girls' School by creating and implementing a school and community wide admission and plan that supports the school’s mission, strategic enrollment goals, and brand awareness campaign. The e.
Reports to: Director of Institutional Advancement
Coordinates enrollment goals with the senior leadership team and leads enrollment management initiatives that engage the entire school community.
Manages and participates in all recruitment and admission efforts, including:
Special events involving prospective students and families (open house, shadow days, tours, parent Info sessions, new family events and parent orientation).
Interview candidates and their parents, arrange for admission testing, secure necessary student credentials and communicate final decisions to the appropriate individuals
Builds strong relationships with outside institutions or groups (feeder schools, educational consultants, civic organizations, etc.) that can be helpful in attracting quality students.
Ensures the Office of Admission represents the school in the best possible fashion to prospective applicants, using feedback to inform the selection process to maximize future success.
Oversees student, alumnae, and parent volunteers who assist in the admission program.
Coordinates with the leadership team to manage the enrollment of international students.
Works with faculty and staff to evaluate applicants in an appropriate manner through the admission process, including establishing admission committee procedures and policies.
Oversees the preparation of reports/statistics for Head of School, Board of Trustees, etc.
Serves on Financial Aid committee
Creates and maintain opportunities for our community to promote good relationships with outside institutions or groups (schools, libraries, civic associations, nursery schools, real estate agencies, etc.) that can be helpful in attracting quality students.
Works with members of the administration and faculty to organize specific retention efforts at the key grade levels
Assists the team with the development of promotional materials, digital marketing ideas, that interpret the school to prospective families.
Significant experience in independent schools, significant admission experience
A bachelor’s degree is a minimum requirement.

Position requires the physical and sensory abilities necessary to work in a school office environment, sitting at a desk/working on a computer for an extended period of time, and being able to move around the building and grounds and occasionally lifting up to 30 lbs. Employee must have a valid Georgia driver’s license or the ability to obtain a valid Georgia driver's license.
