ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, MARKETING, ANNUAL FUND , Alumni Association , to manage the strategy and process for direct mail solicitations for the MIT Annual Fund, including production, proofing, and data management. Will actively participate in brainstorming creative and technical solutions to fund-raising projects and several campaigns to achieve goals for the Annual Fund Program; create, manage, and maintain direct mail schedule and budgets effectively and efficiently; provide assistance to the director of marketing for Annual Fund programs; and coordinate the production of e-solicitations as necessary.
REQUIRED : a bachelor's degree; five years of communications or relevant work experience; ability to work in teams and brainstorm solutions; excellent interpersonal, project management, and verbal and written communication skills; a commitment to customer service; functional knowledge of desktop publishing software; and an aptitude for numbers and analysis. Seek a highly organized individual who demonstrates attention to detail and the ability to coordinate multifaceted tasks either independently or in team settings. A background in direct-response marketing or philanthropy would be highly beneficial. Occasional evening and weekend work will be required. Job #17346-8
