Position Description: The Business Services Systems Analyst is a technical resource for all Business Services programs and departments, including the Campus Store, Dining and Conference Services, Mail Services, and Security Services. Finds, designs and implements new technology solutions to improve efficiency, productivity, and service. Conducts system administration, security, and maintenance of software applications and hardware, including servers. Manages, researches, tests, implements, maintains, and oversees program applications to provide effective, accurate, and timely services. Analyzes changing operational needs and implements system enhancements or new projects and systems to support needs. Collaborates continuously with the Technology Services Department to address overall Business Services technology needs. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: Client Technology Support and Data Management
Administer Business Services' systems and applications including serving as the first level of client support on Business Services applications and hardware.
Manage all systems and applications throughout their lifecycle in support of the mission of Business Services.
Manage and develop business processes as they relate to technology throughout the department.
Plan and schedule installation and deployment of projects for hardware, e-commerce and software.
Partner with Network and Systems Administration teams to ensure efficient operations of servers and desktop computing environment.
Manage renewal of vendor support and hardware/software maintenance agreements. This includes requirements and expectations.
Manage all Business Services websites including administration, data import and export, training, and user experience.
Manage business services' IT projects throughout the software development lifecycle.
Manage auxiliary and business service applications including quality assurance, testing, monitoring, development of metrics and service level objectives, and issue tracking and remediation.
Manage payment systems and credit card processing for all auxiliary services including PCI compliance initiatives.
Provide administrative and IT Management support for the Emergency Response Group.
Manage integration for the ASUPS Dining Donation Program and Orca Card check out.
Manage attendance and activity tracking software used by various university departments.
Serve as a technology leader within Business Services developing cross-functional teams, clear escalation paths, and training/growth opportunities.
Serve as the IT contract specialist for Business Services including the review and management of all contracts, statements of work, and deliverables as well as the management of contractor performance.
Website and Other Duties
As needed, support the maintenance of Business Services and Logger Card websites.
Coordinate data management with vendors.
Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor degree in business, economics, mathematics, statistics, information systems, computer science, or related field, and 5 years' experience as technical coordinator or analyst, process manager, or similar position. Or, an AAS degree or relevant training and other education, and 7 years of significant technology experience.
Experience documenting existing and new technical processes.
Experience eliciting, documenting, and communicating product/solution requirements, and liaising with operation and technical/implementation teams.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others on challenging issues.
Ability to provide guidance and assistance in developing solutions.
Presentation skills and understanding of project management concepts.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of MS Visio, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
Desktop support and analytic work experience.
Occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
Ability to respectfully work, communicate and provide leadership within a diverse campus community
