AdventHealth seeks to hire a Project Designer who will embrace our mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ.

The Patient Experience Project Designer is responsible for designing, creating and managing projects and deployments aligned with patient experience performance management, enhancement and goals of AdventHealth. The Project Designer works closely with clinical experience leadership, regional and campus leaders in consulting and developing assessments, communication strategies, and learning tools and collateral for areas of focus to drive key performance indicators (KPIs). This includes but is not limited to two-way communication with patients and families, media productions, marketing materials, web design management, and training and development. The Product Designer is known as an expert in the field of patient experience and manages short- and long-term strategic projects as directed by clinical experience leadership to achieve and sustain top-quartile performance. This role will analyze and evaluate patient expereince data (Press Ganey/CMS CAHPS), written and verbal consumer and team member feedback; produces reports; and fulfills custom requests for patient experience outcome visuals. Educates and trains leaders and staff members on various communication modes and methods in understanding patient needs. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
Excellent organizational and project management skills, self-directed, and ability to manage multiple priorities/projects
Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in understandable terms to all levels of leadership, physicians, and staff
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other marketing software such as InDesign
Skilled public speaker with ability to effectively communicate to small and large groups of executive leaders, physicians and frontline staff
Ability to manage and work with a diverse group of individuals, while striving for excellence
Accepts responsibility for actions and results
Problem solving and listening skills with the ability to coach, mentor and motivate
Knowledge of clinical operations; safety, regulations, processes, finance.
Ability to teach, translate, and interpret patient satisfaction analytics
Knowledge of descriptive and inferential statistics (Preferred)
Analytical thinking and skilled in working with data and technology (Preferred)
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing Research, Communications, Healthcare or related field
Three years of experience in healthcare, or project management
Experience directly related to duties and responsibilities specified
Experience in developing training materials and programs
Master's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Marketing Research, or related field (Preferred)
One year of experience working with HCAHPS/Press Ganey in a PE related role (Preferred)
Licensure, Certification, or Registration Required:
Certification in training and/or human performance improvement such as Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) and/or Human Performance Improvement Certification (HPI) Issued by ASTD (Association of Talent Development or University Sponsored Curriculum) (Preferred)

Supports Clinical Experience Leaders in innovating, developing and facilitating deployment of large-scale improvement and change projects by leveraging analytics, learning and performance improvement methodology, patient experience theory, clinical workflow and empirical evidence research and collateral engineering to facilitate practice integration and standardization across the region
Manages the development and production of special media and marketing communication projects.
Develops strong working relationships with internal and external resources and vendors to produce and publish numerous forms of internal and external communication, reports, education, patientfacing and team-facing collateral, video production, and presentations.
Operates and owns the Patient Experience Website and produces all content. This includes working with vendors as applicable to implement both regular maintenance and user-initiated enhancements. Responsible for testing enhancements and ensuring optimal website performance.
Operates and owns Voice of the customer data warehouse, social media and complaints/grievances trending, team recognition programs and other programs and projects as directed by clinical excellence leaders to support the integration and sustainment of patient experience best practice and performance.
Creates and presents presentations for communication and training with leadership, physicians, and staff, which includes; leadership development, statistical data analysis and interpretation, behaviors, patient experience evidenced-based initiatives, and shadow/observation consultations.
Creates and presents patient satisfaction results, reports and analysis on a scheduled and on demand basis using written and narrative descriptions, charts, graphs and tables, and/or presentation form. Responds to data requests from leadership, physicians, operational leaders, and others.
Support region planning and participates in the orientation and training of new hires, education, and deployment
Coach for Patient Experience Physician/Provider Coaching strategy and program. Including coaching and assessing Advent Health physicians and providers on their interactions and communication (verbal and non-verbal) with patients, families and colleagues throughout the care continuum.
