This experienced professional provides technical leadership and performs a variety of duties relating to the Revenue Cycle Clinical Information Systems applications, initiatives and projects. Responsibilities include: providing leadership and serving as technical resource to the team; leading and assisting with process development, analysis, testing, implementation, and support of information systems, including reporting, interfaces with ancillary systems, and data analytics; participating in planning, developing, training, implementation, and evaluation of Epic Resolute applications and connected systems to support ongoing operations and ensure development, evaluation, and ongoing support. This technical leader provides a high degree of knowledge in the overall field and recognized expertise in specific areas; problem-solving frequently requires analysis of unique issues/problems without precedent and/or structure. May also manage projects medium to large and systems that include formulating strategies and administering policies, processes, with broad scope and complexity. The position is primarily responsible for Epic Resolute application as the busines and billing technical leader for build, support, and maintenance, and functions with a high degree of autonomy. May manage programs that include formulating strategies and administering polices, processes and resources. Serves as a Resolute Billing Cycle liaison and assists the billing, registration and clinical departments to support the department's Revenue Cycle Information Systems applicationsREQUIRED-Successfully complete training or certifications as required by hiring manager. Some travel may be required for training certification -Required to pass Epic certification exam in two attempts within three months of completion of training class/session -Associate or bachelor degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience -Broadly encompassing or highly in-depth knowledge of 1-2 areas of focus in clinical applications specialty area(s) related to revenue cycle -Experience implementing and supporting electronic medical record systems -Knowledge of operations, systems and functions, including planning, design, development, implementation, user support and training, maintenance, quality assurance, and system testing and evaluation supporting healthcare revenue cycle -Knowledge of quality tools and experience in business or clinical process improvement initiatives -Past participation in an implementation of an activity or strategy in a department, hospital or system environment -Advanced interpersonal communication skills to effectively train, support, and collaborate productively with clinical and revenue cycle users, and key stakeholders at all professional and technical levels -Skills or experience demonstrating advanced application of adult learning principles and system design standards -Experience demonstrating knowledge of business operations and end-user requirements to improve or develop system design and training projects PREFERRED-Experience working with healthcare revenue/billing systems or system implementation teams for complex projects and/or interface development -Experience supporting healthcare billing office systems with reporting and analytics using Crystal Reports, SQL, Business Objects, and other reporting software -Experience working with interfaced/integrated multi-vendor applications -Experience implementing and supporting Epic's Reporting Workbench, Dashboards, Application Reports, Clarity, and Cogito -Academic institution or large integrated health system experience -Experience working with clinical information systems or system implementation teams for complex projects and/or application development -Advanced organizational and project management skills, and ability to lead a team, prioritize tasks, and see projects through from inception to completion on schedule -Experience working with interfaced/integrated multi-vendor applications SPECIAL REQUIREMENT - THIS POSITION MAY BE SUBJECT TO A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION, DRUG SCREEN, LIVE SCAN FINGERPRINTING, MEDICAL EVALUATION CLEARANCE, AND FUNCTIONAL CAPACITY ASSESSMENT
