Job Summary: JOB SUMMARY: To coordinate and oversee all Athletic Complex scheduling to include administration, planning, contracting, marketing, managing the financials of all special internal and external events.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Schedule/coordinate all activities for special internal and external events.
Handle all internal and external inquires for building use and rental.
Process contracts and finalize all details related to internal and external events.
Plan and execute appropriate marketing strategies for the athletic complex including marketing research, special programs and added services for events.
Utilize the University's event scheduling software, 25Live, to accurately schedule and maintain the event database.
Schedule custodial, grounds and maintenance set-up/break-down of events.
Hire, train, supervise and evaluate event supervisors and special event staff.
Serve as the event supervisor.
Manage and reconcile revenues and expenses derived from special events held in the athletic complex.
Work as a team member and work with a diverse group of constituencies.
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid driver's license.
Ability to work flexible hours including extensive evening and weekends.
Two years related work experience preferably in athletics and events management.
Demonstrated ability with computer based applications.
Maintain a schedule of primarily evenings and weekends.
Ability to plan, coordinate, analyze, execute, and document various administrative activities.
Ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
Good organizational, oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to work with diverse populations of groups and individuals.
Outstanding public relations skills.
