Position assists investigators as coordinator of a basic to moderately complex clinical research study; may be responsible for multiple research studies simultaneously, acting as a liaison with the school, sponsoring agency, community and the study participants; responsible for managing and recording all phases of study protocol as required by sponsoring agency to ensure compliance .
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Completing diagnostic interviews with adolescent and adult participants, facilitating MRI scanning, EEG recording, drug and alcohol screenings, blood draws, and saliva sample collection
Managing and recording all phases of study protocol
Basic office management
Resolving IRB/protocol management issues and other regulatory paperwork management
Recruitment and enrolment of study participants
Conducting and/or supervising laboratory sessions with research participants (training will be provided)
Staff training and management
Bachelor’s degree required; prior work experience, preferably in clinical research support, is highly preferred; a combination of relevant work and education equaling 4 years may substitute for this requirement.
Previous experience with human neuroimaging studies.
Previous experience with brain imaging (fMRI) studies is desired.
Basic knowledge of statistical software (e.g. SPSS) is desired.
Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
Good working knowledge of general office software such as Excel and Microsoft Word.
Supervisory experience working with people, as well as project management experience is essential.
The hiring range for this position is $39,839 - $49,823 annually.
