The primary purpose of this position is to: 1) assist in the delivery of unit-wide programs to aid in preparing students and alumni to meet the demands of a global workforce; 2) develop, implement, manage and evaluate employer relations functions pertaining to full-time career opportunities, graduate and professional school, military and entrepreneurial endeavors; 3) partner with the recruiting coordinator and employers to execute on-campus recruiting (OCR) and non-OCR recruiting activities (i.e, job postings on-campus interviews, information sessions, employer meetups, workshops, campus meetings, webinars, site visits); 4) collaborate with students, faculty, staff and administrators to connect employers with the university and encourage student participation; 5) manage the integration of the Office's social media and web communications brand strategy to strengthen the Office's image, expand visibility, and engage target audiences including prospective students (and their influencers), alumni, current students, faculty and staff, employers and other constituencies; and 6) assist in obtaining First Destination data.
This position will also provide comprehensive career services programs including: employer relations, career fair administration, employer outreach, sourcing and programming, career assessments administration, career counseling, workshop development/facilitation, and other career development techniques such as job search strategies, salary/job offer evaluations, applying to graduate school and internship/co-op referrals.
This position will collaborate heavily with the Assistant Director for Experiential Learning and also supervise student personnel focused on employer relations, social media and marketing.

The mission of the Office of Career Services (OCS) is to provide centralized, comprehensive, and progressive interdisciplinary programs, services, and resources to prepare A&T undergraduates, graduate students, and alumni (up to one year post graduation) for the achievement of personal, professional, and career development that meet the needs of a global society.
The centralized, comprehensive and progressive programs, services and resources provided by the Office are tailored to be a gateway for the enhancement of the skills necessary to keep the A&T Aggie competitive in the workplace. All services are performed with a conscientious and sincere interest in the customer (student/alumni/ faculty-staff and employer). Students are encouraged to register with the OCS and actively take advantage of the services offered.

Master's Degree in Career Services/Development, Counseling, Adult Education, Human Resources, Higher Education, Student Personnel Services or a related field along with a minimum of three (3) years experience in a Career Services, College Relations, or Human Resources (Recruiting) setting.
Strong technical and social media skills with a high level of proficiency using social media accounts such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram as well as Career Services software such as NACElink, Simplicity Career Fair Manager, C3M, and InterviewStream. At least an intermediate knowledge level of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint required with the ability to perform tasks such as: create mail merges, tables, charts and graphs, perform Excel functions, manipulate cells, and create PowerPoint presentations with animations, slide transitions, and sound.
Demonstrated ability to develop/facilitate programs, utilize social networking media and administer/interpret career assessments such as Myers Brigg, Strong Interest Inventory, Self Directed Search or True Colors.
Must also possess excellent communication (written/oral) and presentation skills and be capable of working independently and in a team environment. Strong ethics and confidentiality required.
Five (5) years of related experience. Advanced level of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel (with the ability to use Pivot Tables).
