Manages a team responsible for ERP application security of the Peoplesoft, JD Edwards and other corporate applications with additional focus on IT compliance and audit support of those systems. Responsible for the day-to-day management of all delivery aspects of application security including security architecture, configuration and provisioning within the applications. Understands Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) audit concepts including Information technology general controls, risk mitigation, compensating controls and how application security complies with those audit requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages, coaches, trains and develops a team of application security administrators.
Manages end user security support for internal customers using the PeopleSoft and JD Edwards applications
Documents procedures and standards, and ensures staff appropriately documents their work such as production support, security architecture specifications and development, or security configuration.
Reports on support metrics in order to identify trends that warrant attention.
Serves as the digital & technology liaison for application security needs with internal client leadership and business lines
Responsible for developing and executing small and medium sized project plans involving application security.
Provides leadership briefings for application security
Interfaces with internal and external auditors, providing audit support for application security
Performs other duties as assigned
Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area.
Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination.
Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval.
Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime.
Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff.
Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.
Full PeopleSoft and/or JD Edwards security development and implementation 3 years implementing PeopleSoft and/or JD Edwards security modules 4 years of PeopleSoft and/or JD Edwards security design, development, training and support Experience as Security Administrator for PeopleSoft and/or JD Edwards implementations Functional knowledge of PeopleSoft and/or JD Edwards 2 – 4 years of audit support experience for ERP systems EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree required, preferable in computer information systems, computer science, IT, business or another related field. Degree must include coursework in computer programming covering multiple languages. 6 - 10 years of experience in PeopleSoft and/or JD Edwards security is required.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business and systems documentation. Ability to describe technical issues in a way that others in D&T will be able to understand and act upon them. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
