The University of Kansas seeks applications for Outreach Coordinator for Study Abroad & Global Engagement (SAGE). The Outreach Coordinator is responsible for the development and implementation of a strategic marketing plan to increase KU student participation in SAGE programs, including GAP, Global Scholars, and study abroad. This position oversees the SAGE Info Center and supervises 5-7 student Peer Advisors and one student graphic designer. Emphases include first-step student advising; student recruitment; promotion of approximately 150 study abroad programs through print brochures and public presentations; website management of studyabroad.ku.edu; social media management; advertising; and collaboration with KU International Affairs, the KU School of Languages, Literatures, & Cultures, KU Admissions, the Office of First Year Experience, Multicultural Affairs, and other on-campus and off-campus organizations.

1 year professional experience in journalism, public relations, marketing, communications, or related field
Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign
Experience updating and maintaining webpages
Writing skills, as demonstrated by personal statement describing the value of global engagement and study abroad within an undergraduate degree
Oral communication and public speaking skills, as demonstrated by a minimum of 5 oral presentations
Experience studying, living, or working abroad for a minimum of one month
Organizational skills including setting priorities and meeting deadlines
Professional experience in education abroad administration
Graphic design, print publishing, and web publishing skills
KU academic or administrative experience
Student advising experience
