JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Coordinator works on the Career Education & Coaching team to support career coaching services and programming offered to HBS MBAs and alumni. The Coordinator is responsible for managing the ongoing operations of the MBA and Alumni Career Coaching program and for detailed analysis required to manage program scope and quality. The Coordinator will interact with our 50+ career coaches, as well as students who work with our office.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Contribute to MBA and Alumni Program Work
Logistics lead for CPD Fellows program – liaising with student coaches, processing invoices and fielding requests
Team lead role for EC Resume Review, EC Cover Letter Review programs
Team lead role for Career Visioning program logistics and day-of execution
Team lead role for Design Thinking for Your Career program logistics and day-of execution
Team lead role for Know Before You Go interview program logistics and day-of execution
Team lead role for Annual Coach Training logistics and day-of execution
Team lead role for Spring Reunion coaching logistics and day-of execution
Serve as LinkedIn expert and trainer for the office
Distribute Alumni LinkedIn, Resume and Cover Letter requests to appropriate coaches
Distribute HBS Partner coaching requests to appropriate coaches
Participate as team member in other MBA and alumni programs as required.
Manage MBA and Alumni Coaching Program Operations
Share weekly coach invoicing responsibilities with team member
Gather MBA Buzz content for HBS-wide distribution
Provide ongoing communications/support for coaches
Field coaching-related questions/requests forwarded from the CPD main office account
Facilitate daily room assignments for coaches
Provide daily coach schedule to front desk
Manage room reservation process for ongoing coaching programs
Serve as Coaching Team Lead on Key Career Coaching Systems
Lead on software systems with SME responsibility supporting the coaching program, including, but not limited to Career assessment and resume review platforms, career coach share site and Partner coaching site
Own Coaching Handbook (updated and distributed annually or as needed)
Analyze Coaching Program Performance Measures
Participate as team member in analysis of program performance metrics
Manage coach feedback poll
Provide budget-related analysis as requested by Associate Director
Assist with Wilder First Floor coverage.
Support senior level staff with meeting scheduling, travel and expense reports

5+ years of related experience.
Superior verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical background and comfort with excel important. Highly developed interpersonal skills and strong team orientation. Excellent project management skills with exceptional attention to detail. Demonstrated reliability on project follow-through and ability to take initiative with all projects. Self-starter with an eye towards consistent project and program improvement. Proven ability to work successfully autonomously and as a team member. Strong service orientation a must. Experience and comfort level working within technology platforms a plus. Some night and weekend work required. BS/BA preferred.
