HUMAN RESOURCES (HR) COORDINATOR , MIT Professional Education (PE) (part-time, 60%), to be responsible for coordinating human resources activities and providing advice on HR policies, procedures, and best practices for PE. The main duties will include assisting the executive director with coordinating HR activities such as employee relations, rewards and recognition, diversity and inclusion, recruitment, performance management, and compensation. Will work under the direction of the executive director. MIT Professional Education, under the School of Engineering, offers a suite of education programs and products to serve the continuing educational needs of science and engineering professionals globally.
REQUIRED : a B.A/B.S.; a minimum of two years of HR experience, preferably in higher education; strong interpersonal, organizational, and oral and written communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively and provide cross-functional leadership; excellent project management skills; good judgment with confidential information/issues; advanced-level proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); and knowledge of Atlas or similar HR system.
