CBRE is looking for a Senior Designer to join a new studio in New York City to drive design and strategy for the design of commercial spaces. Our new studio in New York is looking for new ways to drive design and create new products and services for commercial projects. This individual should be interested in finding and helping drive new means and methods for design of commercial projects.
The Senior Designer's responsibilities will include:
Designing and coordinating projects from concept design through construction.
Creating, organizing, and developing design documentation through all phases.
Presenting to and incorporating feedback from stakeholders as well as consultant teams for the life cycle of projects.
Understanding and helping develop brand standards
Coordinating with internal stakeholders to coordinate deliverables as well as design coordination
Site analysis, documentation, and assessment with travel to sites around the US (up to 50% at peak periods).
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the architecture and design field with a Bachelor's degree or higher.
Strong candidates will be fluent in Revit and interested in using digital tools and processes to help drive efficiency in design.
Familiarity with design documentation and the design process is essential coupled with an ability to quickly iterate and develop design.
Highly qualified individuals should have the ability to jump into fast-paced projects and execute with minimal direction.
Candidates should be proficient in developing internal design documentation in addition to deliverables to stakeholders and external consultants.
