This Clinical Informatics Specialist will be responsible for:
Providing leadership to clinical departments and patients/families in identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining an efficient and effective clinical information system.
Ensuring compliance with business and clinical procedures and protocols and ensuring consistency in application system use by staff and/or families.
To qualify, you must have:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a closely related field and a minimum of three years nursing experience.
Be open to enrolling into a Master's program for informatics or comparable clinical leadership academic program.
Progressive experience in business and clinical process improvement, organizational change and project management as well as a minimum of three years business involvement in electronic Clinical/Healthcare Systems.
The analytical skills to resolve scientific, clinical, human resources, legal, financial, or administrative problems that require the innovative application of the highest levels of specialized knowledge and/or develop financial and operating plans for one of the hospital's major divisions and/or foundations.
Up to date knowledge and understanding of clinical practice, computer hardware, software applications, and their utilization.
Must have active Massachusetts RN license.
