Facilities Management is responsible for maintaining, preserving and enhancing the University's physical assets. Core services include building and ground maintenance and custodial services to ensure a safe, functional and attractive campus environment. FM also provides professional engineering, architectural and construction management services to the Pittsburgh campus and to Pitt's Bradford, Greensburg, Johnstown and Titusville campuses.
The University of Pittsburgh Facilities Management AVC department is seeking an Administrative Secretary. The incumbent is responsible for providing administrative assistance to the Senior Manager, Planning & Design, and their staff. The job duties for this position include scheduling and coordinating appointments of the Design staff, organizing and maintaining project files, processing administrative functions related to Purchasing, database management, travel and providing general support for project management. This is a project based role and the length of your assignment is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to project workload.
High School diploma or diploma from a certified Business School or Computer School. Knowledge of technical terminology is beneficial.
