University Information Technology Services (UITS), within the University of Arizona, is seeking an Information Technology Project Manager to manage projects in support of an enterprise CRM platform.
Reporting to the Lead Program Manager, the IT Project Manager facilitates project delivery in a highly collaborative, complex organizational context by negotiating priorities, orchestrating communications and process, navigating organizational boundaries to address external dependencies, and breaking down barriers. The IT Project Manager thinks beyond timeline, budget, and scope to envision and deliver high-value outcomes through the enterprise CRM program. The IT Project Manager connects to members of the development team and campus partners to understand core strategies and needs that should be enabled through the CRM program.
The successful applicant will be a project leader with demonstrated success managing large projects to success in an organizational culture of distributed leadership.
This is a project funded, three-year position with potential for continuation pending ongoing funding.

Duties & Responsibilities
•Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with technology team and campus partners. •Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. •Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. •Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress. •Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques. •Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. •Report and escalate to management as needed. •Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders. •Perform risk management to minimize project risks. •Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors. •Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. •Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals. •Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs. •Additional duties as assigned.
Arizona Board of Regents Minimum Qualifications
Six years of progressively responsible information technology project management experience; OR, Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Technology or related field AND three years of progressively responsible information technology project management experience OR, any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education.
•Four years of progressively responsible information technology project management experience; OR, Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computing Information Technology or related field AND two years of progressively responsible information technology project management experience OR, Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education. •Experience with lean/agile project methodologies. •Experience with user-centered design or design thinking methodologies. •Experience working in a higher-education, academic environment.
