Tufts Center for Study of Drug Development (CSDD) is an independent, academic, multi-disciplinary nonprofit research group affiliated with Tufts University. Tufts CSDD develops and presents strategic information to help drug developers, regulators, and policy makers improve the quality and efficiency of pharmaceutical development, review, and utilization.
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the execution of sponsored projects. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Planning and coordinating primary and secondary research projects; Conducting and managing qualitative and quantitative analyses of primary and secondary research data; Interacting with and managing clients and project sponsors; Managing junior staff and engaging/motivating project teams; Preparing written reports and giving presentations to project sponsors; Giving presentations at conferences and meetings; Assisting in the authorship of peer-reviewed and trade publication manuscripts
3-5 years related experience
Database Management, Statistical Software
MS or MBA preferred.
Experience conducting market research and market intelligence, preferably in the health care industry.
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated experience managing projects and teams from start to finish.
Ability to work on complex research questions using creative and analytical solutions.
Strong sense of research design and experience with a variety of primary and secondary data gathering approaches.
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Some travel may be required.
