We are looking for a highly-organized marketing professional to lead marketing for our specialty Practice Groups. This role serves as the single point of contact for our practice group leaders, creating and implementing strategic print and digital marketing campaigns, deploying thought leadership, coordinating events, providing business development and marketing content and tracking the effectiveness of all marketing initiatives. Throughout your work, you will use your creative eye and future-driven knowledge to constantly improve the quality and effectiveness of each project you manage.
Primary Role Objectives:
Partner with practice group leaders to propose, develop and implement strategic marketing plans with an emphasis on the Law Firm Practice Group (LFPG).
Effectively partner with others to manage multiple marketing initiatives
Develop and present top-level analysis that demonstrates the value of marketing to leadership and key stakeholders
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Management of marketing initiatives for Specialty Practice Groups, with an emphasis on the LFPG including:
Working with team members to maintain knowledge management, case study and resource library
Developing business development and marketing collateral while tracking and analyzing usage and value-add for the business
Writing, designing and owning Website content and analytics
Collaborating with national PR team and Specialty Practice Group PR leads on external initiatives such as press releases and publication placement
Devising marketing strategy and customer journey for sector reports (the annual North American legal sector report as well as local legal sector reports) including setting KPIs and improving them year over year
Designing and coordinating promotional materials including email campaigns, digital strategy, social strategy and more
Ownership of all other marketing initiatives for the LFPG including:
Serving as the subject matter expert for marketing the Legal Sector
Working with administrative support to manage the group's budget
Partnering with administrative support to oversee and coordinate all aspects of the annual LFPG meeting including scheduling and managing conference facilities and hotel room bookings, managing client RSVPs, managing contracts, budgeting and promoting the event
Owning law firm broker/client experience including creating and scheduling all internal and external email communications
Managing the marketing strategy for the group's LinkedIn Showcase page including developing and posting content, generating graphics and presenting improvement ideas on viewer engagement to key leadership
Managing the creation of strategic promotional videos including outlining scripts, overseeing video production and executing promotional strategy.
Presenting high-level marketing dashboards to senior leadership including assessments of marketing initiatives, research reports, new available resources, historic calculated initiatives and more.
Overseeing new member onboarding and maintaining the charter and value proposition
Minimum of four to six years of relevant marketing experience, either working in commercial real estate, a professional services firm, or a marketing agency. Service Line marketing experience a plus.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or communications
Ability to self-manage with a high degree of proactivity and accountability
Strong organizational and analytical skills with executional capabilities
Articulate, strategic and pragmatic problem-solving skills with the ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top leadership and/or public groups
Creative, story-telling writing abilities with a keen design eye
Experience in managing email marketing campaigns, including scheduling, list segmentation, A/B testing and UX analysis
Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to internal clients and leadership
Experience comprehending, analyzing, and interpreting documents and budgets
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple short-term and long-term projects and deadlines with occasional overtime
Client focused with a teamwork mentality, demonstrating ability to provide quality services and serving multiple professionals and senior leadership
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator and InDesign
Ability to travel for the LFPG annual meeting
Can-do attitude, flexible, and self-sufficient with ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere
