The Research Assistant - Sabat, will have duties specifically related to research activities, require an advanced level of knowledge in a field of science or learning, are predominantly intellectual and varied in character, and require consistent use of discretion and judgment.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelorâ™s degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Biology, or related field (completed by (Spring 2019) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelorâ™s degree in Psychology
One of more years of experience as an undergraduate research assistant in psychology
Preferred Licenses and Certifications:
CITI Human Subjects Research Training
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Interest in studying research related to diversity and organizational psychology
Ability to effectively communicate with undergraduate research assistants, graduate students, and faculty supervisor
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to use Microsoft Office and Google Apps effectively
Basic SPSS knowledge and skills
Salary Range: 25,000 - 28,000
Interviewing, coordinating, and managing undergraduate research assistants
Creating and administering surveys Scheduling undergraduate research participants
Conducting literature reviews and helping formulate new study ideas
Helping with project management of multiple studies for principle investigator, graduate students, and undergraduate research assistants
Submitting IRB applications
Assisting with data analysis
Writing, editing, and submitting manuscripts and grants
Purchasing materials for the lab
Coordinating travel plans and performs other duties as assigned.
