ILTA is looking for a creative and talented Graphic Designer to join the Creative Services team as a junior designer. This role will report to and work closely with the Senior Creative Lead to support design projects across various Association initiatives, including but not limited to the association website, digital and print publications, event campaigns and promotional materials, and marketing and partnership assets through digital and print collateral. They will be responsible for developing engaging and cohesive visual brand experiences as part of the design team function at ILTA. The ideal candidate is a highly organized self-starter, able to work efficiently on multiple projects to meet tight deadlines, a sense of fun, with a love for design and an eye for consistency.
As part of the Marketing and Communications team, working closely with the Senior Creative Lead, the designer will support all aspects of visual output for the Association
Develop marketing campaign creative materials for proposals, presentations, emails, social media, signage, and event displays, with attention to cohesive and thoughtful brand experiences
Assist with article layout for our various publications – print and digital
Maintain ILTA’s brand standards; enforces and evolves brand guidelines
Works as a design backup to Senior Creative Lead
Maintains current file library of final assets on central folders, with a focus on easy access to re-usable assets, e.g., event logos
A designer with a growing portfolio, who has worked 2-4 years in a business environment (corporate, agency, non-profit, association)
Excited about working in a fast-paced environment, completing simultaneous priorities under tight deadlines with the flexibility to adapt when necessary
A team player and proactive contributor who is equally comfortable working in groups, as well as on independent work and projects
Collaborates and communicates with other team members and stakeholders across the organization
Can be located in the Chicagoland area to be an in-office employee, or has abilities and prior work experience to work effectively as a remote employee from anywhere in the US
Reports to the Senior Creative Services Lead
Effectively maintains relationships with other marketing and communications team members to ensure the fulfillment of obligations
Effectively maintains relationships with other ILTA staff to ensure creation and maintenance of graphic design projects
Effectively maintains relationships with customers of ILTA to ensure maximum value for their experience
2-4 years of experience working as a graphic designer
An online portfolio showing multi-platform, standout work
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (HTML skills are a plus)
Comfortable in PowerPoint and other presentation software
Creative, flexible thinking in time-sensitive situations
Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, passionate work environment
Project management skills
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a desire to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Previous work with marketing teams and analytics for creative services digital assets, including google analytics, social media metrics, and other products, a plus
Telecommuting is allowed.
