The Security job family forms the Security track within the IT function. Security Analysts administer, maintain, develop and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of PPG’s systems. They provide specialized technical knowledge. They contribute to the establishment of security related policies by identifying opportunities for effective use of security tools and procedures.
The Java Developer / IT Security Analyst, located in Pittsburgh, PA, leads advanced and complex security projects including training, documentation, testing, scanning, and reviewing IT security. Installs, configures, and operates security scanners and security products on a global scope, reviews security logs, configures complex security products, assists with testing, and participates in building security solutions. Investigates, reviews, tests, and pilots security products. Reviews and correlates security data; presents findings to management and third parties. Provides high level assistance to various IT and SBUs with IT security and audit concerns. Provides complex information to third parties for security investigations. Provides high level support and direction during a crisis situation. Reviews and updates crisis management plans.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
A 4-year degree in a computer-related field
5 years experience in an IT support area with IT management and project management experience
Java / BeanShell Experience is desired to automate SailPoint Work Flows
SailPoint IAM developer experience strongly preferred
Configure out-of-the-box connectors used to aggregate identity data including JDBC, LDAP, AD, flat file, or web services
Develop/support custom connectors for specialized or non-standard systems using Java and vendor provided APIs
Experience in security administration, security products, operating systems, and security awareness
Excellent technical and communication skills
Strong Project Management Skills
Experience Leading Teams and efforts of others
