Administrative Assistant – 1900935 – Research Triangle Park, NC
BASF's Market Management group is seeking a motivated Executive Administrative Assistant with demonstrated organizational, planning and presentation skills to support the Vice President of Market Management along with a team of 30+ personnel.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Assisting in administrative problem solving, project planning, development and execution of stated goals and objectives.
Researching information, compiling statistics, and gathering and computing various data; preparing reports, summaries, or replies to inquiries, selecting relevant data from a variety of sources.
Monitoring, reconciling, and assisting with fiscal administration for the unit, including but not limited to budgets, travel and purchasing.
Scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars; scheduling, coordinating and facilitating meetings, web conferences, events and travel arrangements (both domestic and international) as required.
Independently initiating actions, monitoring the process, and following through to completion or resolution of all phases of assignments.
Establishing, updating, and maintaining files, inventories, and records; implementing and maintaining data management systems. Processing a variety of highly confidential information.
Relieving supervisors of as much miscellaneous detail as possible through comprehensive knowledge of organizational policies, practices, procedures.
Preparing complex presentations for meetings.
Preparing and reviewing in detail expense reports for group members.
Coordinating responses to trademark questions.
Onboarding of new team members
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationship with both external and internal contacts.
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Advanced experience in MS Office
High degree of professionalism and judgment when dealing with confidential information
Flexible in changing work priorities and able to work under pressure
Able to prioritize work without direct supervision
